You could choose the following routine:

Monday = Red foods, such as apples, radishes and dried cranberries

Red foods contain lycopene which is ‘one of the most powerful antioxidants capable of fighting off toxins.

Tuesday = Orange foods, such as clementines, oranges and carrots

 Orange can include beta-carotene which is a carotenoid that our body uses to create vitamin A. Carotenoids can help improve our immune function

Wednesday = Yellow foods, such as bananas, yellow peppers, pears, cheese and hard-boiled eggs

 Yellow foods, and explained that ‘bioflavonoids which work together with vitamin C to help maximize its benefits and have been shown to help keep youthful skin & support blood circulation

Thursday = Green foods, such as salad, broccoli with dip, avocado and guacamole

This is my favourite group.

Green foods can contain chlorophyll which is known for its healing and detoxifying properties like helping in healing wounds and preventing infection. It’s anti-viral effects can make it a strong skin protector.

 Friday = Blue/purple foods, such as purple grapes, plums and blueberries

 Purple can be anthocyanins with antioxidant properties. This helps to limit damage caused to your cells by free radicals.

 Making healthy habits fun gets the kids more interested in nutrition in a super positive way.
